Google Calender
This is a little update, but I'm pleased with it. At the bottom of the page should be a calender with events that I've planned on it. For the most part during the week I'm working at the centar, as you can see. When I go places or do something interesting, you'll be able to see on the calender. I'm sure this will be much more interesting in the fall, when I have a varying schedual. at that time, you'll have to my normal blog, which deals with non-Bosnian events in my life. Of course, it's never too late to get a google calender so that I can see what you're doing. Go ahead and add my email so that you can see my calender without going to this blog.

Well, I've been going nuts trying to figure otu where the easter eggs are, and all I can come up with is the little iPod-like toolbar button, maybe the Firefox theme?, the close buttons on each tab, and the ButMeNot toolbar button. Are any of those right?
Landmines, poverty, unemployment. Deep wounds in the cultural and geographic landscape. Do you see Bosnia as being capable of healing to any significant degree in our lifetimes?

Recovery is conditional on local desire to recover. Houses are rebuilding, but there is a generation of people who do not want to know anyone outside of their ethnicity. There are notable exceptions, and they are the people who are dragging the country into the future. If BiH can meet EU guidlines in the near future, i can see good change taking place. Of course that is conditional on ensuring the EU is a respected external authority. I think, key to BiH recovery is the recovery of its neighbours, especially Croatia and Serbia. When those countries encourage their citizens to respect the territorial integrity of BiH, respective ethnic groups within BiH might do the same. Constant international pressure and aid, along with a cultural transformation in the local population will create viable change in the region
